RISD LOCKER ROOM SHOW TO AIR LIVE!

Show Features Rockwall ISD Coaches and Athletes

Rockwall, TX - Sportsgram Internet Sports Network announced today that it has teamed with the Rockwall ISD and Joe Willy's Market and Grill to broadcast the Rockwall ISD Locker Room Show LIVE on Monday's at 7:00 PM beginning August 23rd.

The show will features coaches and athletes from Rockwall HS and Heath HS each week. The scheduled 1 hour show will originate live from Joe Willy's Market and Grill in Rockwall.

"We encourage Yellowjackets and Hawks fans to come out each week and enjoy a great meal and be a part of our live audience each Monday", said Steve Glenn, Sportsgram Partner.

The show will broadcast live each Monday and be available via archive following the conclusion of the show each week.

NEW PRE-GAME SEGMENT TO DEBUT

Sports Medicine Clinic of North Texas Teams with Sportsgram to Provide Information

Rockwall, TX - Sportsgram Internet Sports Network announced today that it has teamed with the Sports Medicine Clinic of North Texas to produce informational segments for it's pre-game show. The segments entitled Sports Medicine Today will feature topics related to Sports Medicine.

"With the recent publicity surrounding concussions, we felt it was time to provide information on sports related injuries and sports medicine to our listeners", said Terry Gregory, Sportsgram Founder and Partner.

Sports Medicine Today is 3 to 5 minutes segments discussing various topics. The series includes segments on Heat Related Illnesses, Knee Injuries, Shoulder Injuries, and role of the Athletic Trainer in Sports Medicine.

Dr. Howard Moore, Board Certified in Orthopedic Sports Medicine, and Dennis Hart, ATC, LAT, Athletic Trainer serve as the subject matter experts.

Sports Medicine Today segments will be available for replay following their airing on the Sportsgram pre-game show.

SPORTSGRAM ADDS TWO MORE DISTRICTS!

Dallas ISD, Crandall ISD Sign Agreements

Rockwall, TX - Sportsgram Internet Sports Network announced today that it has entered into an agreements with the Dalas and Crandall Independent School Districts. This brings the number of districts up to 7 for the coming season. Each week, you can hear up to seven games right here on Sportsgram! .

PROSPER ISD SIGNS ON WITH SPORTSGRAM

Eagles Football Ranked #6 in Pre-Season Poll

Rockwall, TX - Sportsgram Internet Sports Network announced today that it has entered into an agreement with the Prosper ISD to broadcast Eagle sports for the upcoming school year.

Prosper Football was recently named the #6 team in the State in Pre-Season polls and is coming off another playoff season following a State Championship in 2008.

NORTH TEXAS CLASSIC TO BE BROADCAST

Rockwall, TX - Sportsgram is pleased to announce that it has entered into an agreement with the Texas High School Football Fraternity to broadcast LIVE video of the North Texas Classic to be played on August 28th at Frisco's Pizza Hut Park. The game will feature Colleyville Heritage vs. Duncanville.

SOFTBALL PLAYOFFS BEGIN

Baseball Winds Down Regular Season

Rockwall, TX - The 2010 High School Softball Playoffs begin this week, and Sportsgram has you covered. We will carry the North Forney and Forney softball teams this weekend. North Forney makes history with the first pitch as they are the first playoff team in the young school's history.

We'll also have a big Baseball finale in 10-4A as the undefeated Heath Hawks, ranked #1 in the State battle the Highland Park Scots.

Lovejoy Walks Off With First District Title

Leopards Remain Perfect in District, Secure Number One Seed

LUCAS, TX - The Lovejoy Leopards baseball team put together timely hitting and great pitching in securing the first district championship in school history Tuesday night. The Leopards got a huge boost from 1B Jace Melby, who was 3-4 at the plate with a couple of doubles and a 2-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the 7th to give the Leopards a 7-5 win over Farmersville on Senior Night.

Pitcher Tyler Provence threw 7 strong innings for the Leopards, giving up just four earned runs and striking out three, and chipped in at the plate with a 2-RBI double in the 1st.

Despite giving up a 2-run go ahead home run to Farmers catcher Austin Brooks in the 5th and a solo homer to Chase Wiggins in the 6th, Provence pitched a 1-2-3 top of the 7th to give his offense a chance to win it in the bottom of the 7th and Melby delivered with his 3rd home run of the year, all of them coming in the last 4 days.

The Leopards (19-5-1, 9-0 in 13-3A) close out their district schedule on Friday on the road against Quinlan Ford. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:30 PM, and Sportsgram’s coverage will begin at 7:25 PM

Pre-game Ceremony to Honor First Senior Class

Rockwall, TX - The Lovejoy Lady Leopards softball game on Tuesday, April 20th will have a special pre-game ceremony honoring the first group of graduating seniors in their final home game. The pre-game ceremony will begin at 5:30 PM followed by the first pitch of Lovejoy vs. Farmersville game at 6:00 PM. Sportsgram will cover both events via live video coverage.

SPORSTGRAM TO COVER ROCKWALL ISD

Sportsgram to cover select Spring Sports Events

Rockwall, TX - Sportsgram Internet Sports Network announced today that it will cover select Rockwall ISD spring sports events beginning in March.

"We are pleased to be able to bring Rockwall Yellowjackets and Heath Hawks fans some great baseball and softball action", said Terry Gregory, Sportsgram Founding Partner. "The Rockwall ISD's existing broadcast agreement will determine what games Sportsgram will be allowed to cover, but we expect a full schedule of some great action. Fans can check back in the next few days to see our schedulue.".

Sportsgram covered select events for the Rockwall ISD in 2009 including the complete Rockwall Yellowjackets District and Playoff season, as well as selected softball and basketball events.

TOURNAMENT BROADCAST SCHEDULE SET

All Games to be Video Streamed

Rockwall, TX - Sportsgram Internet Sports Network announced today the broadcast schedule for the Sandra Meadows and DISD Coca-Cola Basketball Tournaments scheduled for the week after Christmas. All Games will feature LIVE Video Coverage.

Sportsgram will cover the Semi-Finals and Finals of the Sandra Meadows Tournament on December 30th. The Semi-Finals are scheduled at 9 and 10:30 AM with the Finals slated for 7:30 PM that evening.

BASKETBALL COVERAGE TO BEGIN

Coverage Opens with Two Big Tournaments

Rockwall,, TX - Basketball coverage will begin on the Sportsgram Network begining at the end of December with two great area Basketball Tournaments.

LOVEJOY FOOTBALL WINS IN OT

Listeners from 12 States and the Phillipines Listen In!

ROCKWALL, TX - Listeners from all over the country and one outside of the USA listened to the Lovejoy Leopards come from 21 points down to defeat the Liberty Eylau Leopards in overtime to win their first Area Championship. The win capped a great sports day in Lovejoy High School's history as earlier in the day the Lady Leopards Volleyball team punched their ticket to the 3A State Finals!

ROCKWALL, TX - It took five hard fought games but Lovejoy was finally able to subdue the Wimberley Lady Texans and punch their ticket to the 3A Volleyball State Finals.

Lovejoy will face the Monahans Lady Loboes at 1:00 PM on Saturday in San Marcos. The Lady Loboes defeated Caldwell 3-0 in their Semi-Final match. Monahans is the #2 ranked team in the state.

Red Oak Falls to #1 Richardson Pearce

Pearce wins 3-2

ROCKWALL, TX - It took 5 hard fought games. A match that saw momentum swing from side to side. In the end, Momentum planted itself on the Richardson Pearce sideline as they punched their ticket to the 2009 4A State Volleyball Tournament.

Pearce will play their opening State Tourney game on Thursday from Strahan Coliseum on the campus of Texas State University in San Marcos.

The Red Oak Oak finished their season 40-7 under new Head Coach Hope Porter.

Lovejoy VB Punches Ticket to State!

Defeat Pleasant Grove 3-0 in the Region 2 Finals

ROCKWALL, TX - The Lovejoy Leopards punched their ticket to the State Volleyball Tournament for the second year in a row with a Region 2 Finals victory over a scrappy Pleasant Grove Lady Hawks team.

Lovejoy won 25-19, 25-19, 25-14.

Lovejoy will play in the State Semi-Finals on Friday at a TBD. Check our website later on Sunday for any updates. We'll be there as the Leopards go for their second straight State title!

VOLLEYBALL PLAYOFFS ARE HERE!

Lovejoy, Sunnyvale Open Play on Thursday

ROCKWALL, TX - The 2009 Texas High School Volleyball Playoffs begin this week around the State of Texas and Sportsgram will be there! We open our coverage of the playoffs on Thursday as Lovejoy and Sunnyvale both play in the Area Round on Thursday night.

Lovejoy will face Atlantat in Lindale, while Sunnyvale will travel to Ferris to face Grandview.

Lovejoy, the #1 ranked 3A team, opens the playoffs as the defending State Champion. Sunnyvale, a 2nd year High School makes it's first ever playoff appearance in the school's history.

Red Oak, the #5 team in the State, with a win in the Bi-District Round over Cleburne advances to play Lindale in the Area Round on Saturday at 2PM in Wills Point.

RICHLAND, BROOKHAVEN CROWNED CHAMPS

Richland Soccer, Brookhaven Volleyball Head to Regionals

ROCKWALL, TX - The Richland Men's Soccer Team scored early and often against MAC rival Mountain View for a 5-0 victory in the NJCAA Region 5 Finals on Sunday afternoon. Richland will face Triton College (16-2) out of River Grove, IL next week in Dallas for a berth in the National Championship Tournament.

The Brookhaven Lady Bears defeated Richland in three straight games to advance to the next round of the NJCAA Volleyball playoffs.

SPORTSGRAM SIGNS NEW AGREEMENTS

DISD Coca-Cola Classic, Post Season Basketball Tournaments

ROCKWALL, TX – Rockwall based Sportsgram Internet Sports Network announced today that is has completed agreements with the Dallas Independent Schoool District to broadcast three events this school year. Sportsgram will be the broadcast voice for the Dallas Independent School District Coca-Cola Classic Basketball Tournament, as well as the DISD Post-Season Warm-Up Tournament. These two tournaments will feature some of the premiere basketball teams in the DFW area and the State of Texas. In addition Sportsgram will broadcast a Friday afternoon football matchup on October 7th between Kimball and Carter. Kickoff is set for 2PM. "This continues a flurry of agreements we have reached this year" said Steve Glenn, Sportsgram Partner. "These two basketball tournaments along with the Sandra Meadows Classic gives Sportsgram some of the best Basketball Tournaments in the country".
